I envy you for being able to hear this album for the first time (like you did for your original review in 2011.)
Purchased my copy of the album on vinyl on May 19, 1985.
Still listen to it regularly though I sometimes listen to the 2008 Collector's Edition when I want an extra dose of New Order goodness including the full-length version of "Elegia".
I noticed in your original review that you creditied 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die as the catalyst for checking out the album. Are you still following the book's suggestions?
Herc,I never really read the book. Someone I was following on Twitter was using that as a basis for her blog. That sort of inspired me to do my own blogging about albums. I definitely decided not to follow the book because a lot of the choices in it seemed very "arbitrary". Basically it seemed like a compilation of the authors' favs in a lot of instances.
