Today (January 29th) marks the 35th anniversary of Shalamar's release of their sixth studio album Friends. This certified Platinum album spent twenty-five weeks back in 1982 on the US Billboard Album chart, peaking at number 35.

Today (January 29th) marks the 35th anniversary of the release of Huey Lewis and the News' second studio album Picture This. It spent fifty-nine weeks on the US Billboard Album chart, peaking at number 13.
