I had the 45 single of "My Eyes Adored You" as a kid. My sister and my stepsiblings and I used to put on "shows" for our (poor) family, and part of those shows was always lip-syncing popular songs. Just hearing the name of the song has a weird Pavlov effect on me. I'm suddenly nine years old and back in the basement again, singing lead.

I remember being eight or nine and lip-syncing duets by Donnie and Marie with Jeanie, a neighbor girl across the street where I grew up. So I can relate.

Glad my little list evoked a memory. Figured that's why I'd post them. That and to just see how truly random the shuffle can be to me. It never ceases to surprise me.
