Coming from the world of Speed Racer, Racer X volume 1, written by Mark Russell with art by Nuno Plati, will be published on February 17, 2026. Mad Cave Studios provided an early galley for review.
This one ties perfectly into Speed Racer volume 1 which is also coming out in early 2026. In fact, having read them back to back, I can see how the two series weave together to create a larger look into this world. There is a bit of overlap in the narrative elements.
Fans will definitely benefit from checking them both out. For newcomers, I would recommend reading the Speed Racer collection first.
