Barbra Streisand - Guilty (35th anniversary)


Today (September 23rd) marks the thirty-fifth anniversary of Guilty, the twenty-second studio album from the legendary Barbra Steisand. The album hit number 1 all over the world, including on the US Billboard Album chart. It spent forty-nine weeks on the US Billboard Album chart as well.

I have a confession to make.

For years, I have disliked the musical output of Barbra Streisand without exception.

Then about three years ago, "Woman In Love" shuffled through on a Spotify playlist I was listening to and I was hooked. Went back and gave Guilty a listen. Maybe it's the Barry Gibb but I like it.

Haven't tried any other of her albums.

No denying that Gibb magic ;) I always liked her stuff - music and films - back in the 70's.
