The Kinks - Give the People What They Want (35th anniversary)

Tomorrow (August 25th) marks the thirty-fifth anniversary of Give The People What They Want, the twenty-first studio album from the Kinks. It spent thirty-six weeks on the US Billboard Album chart, peaking at number 13.

    "Destroyer" was the track that got me into the music of Ray Davies and The Kinks. Hugely popular on KLPX on October/November 1981. Still love it after all these years.
