Run-D.M.C. - Run-D.M.C. (30th anniversary)
Today (March 27th) marks the thirtieth anniversary of the self-titled debut album from Run-D.M.C.
For my full review of the groundbreaking Run-D.M.C. album, click here.
I jumped on this album in April 1984 and rode the Run-D.M.C. to the end of their career. The sparse beats and witty rhymes were irresistible. "Rock Box" remains one of my Top 10 favorite songs of all time. Ended up buying three 12" singles from the album with "Rock Box" being the only one I still have.
