Earlier this week (on the 1st) was the thirtieth anniversary of Glorious Results of Misspent Youth, the fourth studio album from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. It spent twenty-one weeks on the US Billboard Album chart, peaking at number 67.
This is a blog about recreational hobbies that I am interested in (music, TV, movies, books). I also talk about what's on my mind or things that happen in life around me. Please feel free to post comments; I want this to be an interactive dialogue. If you like what you read, please share it with your friends. Thanks.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - Album
In June of 1983, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (Gary Ryan on bass, Ricky Byrd on guitar, and Lee Crystal on drums) released their third studio recording simply called Album. It charted at number 85 in Australia, number 29 in Sweden, number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 200, and number 19 in Norway.
The original vinyl release had twelve tracks total. The 1992 CD release added another six tracks, three of which are original tunes co-penned by Jett. For today’s 30th anniversary we will just look at the original vinyl format.
