Ramones - Too Tough To Die

This month marks the thirtieth anniversary of Too Tough To Die, the eighth studio album from the Ramones. It was the first to feature Richie Ramone (Richard Reinhardt) on drums. It spent six weeks on the US Billboard Album chart, peaking at number 171. It also hit number 63 in the UK and number 49 in Sweden.

Ramones - It's Alive

This month marks the thirty-fifth anniversary of It's Alive, the appropriately named 1979 live studio album from the Ramones. Recorded at London's Rainbow Theatre on December 21st of 1977, the double-album charted at number 38 in Sweden and number 27 in the UK.

Ramones - Subterranean Jungle

This week marks the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Subterranean Jungle, the seventh studio album by the American punk band the Ramones. Hitting stores on February 28th, 1982, this one peaked at number 83 on the US Billboard Hot 200.

This was the fourth album with the line-up that consisted of Joey Ramone (Jeffry Hyman) on lead, Johnny Ramone (John Cummings) on guitar, Dee Dee Ramone (Douglas Colvin) on bass and vocals, and Marky Ramone (Marc Bell) on drums. This configuration of the band returned again for 1989’s Brain Drain.
