The Dream Academy - The Dream Academy

This month marks the thirtieth anniversary of the self-titled debut album from the Dream Academy. This London trio consisted of Gilbert Gabriel (keyboards and vocals), Nick Laird-Clowes (guitar, harmonica and vocals) and Kate St. John (piano, tenor sax, oboe, accordion, and vocals). The Dream Academy, co-produced by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, hit number 58 in the UK and number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 (with a thirty-seven week total run).

Squeeze - Argybargy

This month marks the thirty fifth anniversary of Argybargy, the third studio album from Squeeze. It peaked at number 71 on the US Billboard Album chart (with a total run on the chart of twenty-four weeks), number 32 in the UK and number 26 in Canada.

Hank Williams Jr. - Major Moves

This month marks the thirtieth anniversary of Major Moves, the Platinum selling 1984 release from Hank Williams Jr. It spent nineteen weeks on the US Billboard album chart, peaking at number 100. It also went to number 20 on the Canadian Country chart and number 1 on the US Billboard Country chart.
