I got to know Jay over on his Substack page due his sharing this novel earlier this year via serialization there. I instantly became a fan with his story, his writing style, and of the man himself. This was a story that kept me engaged, chapter by chapter, week by week. Yes, it has a time travel element (something I am hugely drawn to), but it is so much more than that. It is a story about family, about choices, about what extremes one would go to save those that they love. Jay explores all of these themes with amazing results.
