I've read other books in The Ultimate RPG series, so this seemed a natural to check out (both as a game master and a writer).

I certainly found a lot of possibilities that could help me in both of those roles. There are five major character types for villains as well as numerous random tables (triggered by dice rolls or playing card draws) to really mix up the finer details of their backgrounds. There is a lot here to play with and pull inspiration from.
